I was born and raised in Niagara, spending my childhood in Grimsby before settling in Beamsville where I have lived for the past 20 years.
On February 1, 2019, I retired from the Niagara Regional Police Service after 32 years of dedicated service. For 10 plus years, part of my duties included planning and executing some of the Service’s most important events such as; Award Ceremonies, Memorial Services, Conferences, Graduation Ceremonies, Canine Graduations and Opening Ceremonies to name a few. I also raised the Service’s community profile by organizing numerous community engagement opportunities including; Food Drive Campaigns, Out of the Cold, Christmas Fundraisers for less fortunate families, to name a few.
This is where my passion for event planning was born. The part that I loved the most was making it special and personal for the people being recognized, honoured and remembered. Nothing can top the joy and happiness I helped create for the members and their families and being there to witness it first hand.
My plan is to continue sharing my experience in the private sector. There are so many reasons to gather in a life richly lived - birthdays, showers, weddings, anniversaries. It is so important to step out of the ordinary every once in a while to give real honour to the people and events that shape our lives and bond our family and friends together.
Thank you ever so much for reading my page.
With Warm Regards,
